McDowell Holdings Limited, an investment company which has investment in UB group companies, today reported a net loss of Rs 63.8 lakh for the first quarter ended June 30, 2009 compared to a net loss of Rs15.96 lakh, an increase of close to four times in the corresponding quarter last year.
