Areva T&D India bags order from PowerGrid

Areva T&D India, an arm of French firm Areva, today said it has bagged a Rs 150-crore order from central transmission utility PowerGrid for executing a 765 KV substation. - Sterlite Energy bags 1st ultra mega power transmission project - Areva bags Rs 1,200-cr power project from JSPL">Areva bags Rs 1,200-cr power project from JSPL - PowerGrid Q4 net up 156% - PowerGrid bags Rs 1,033 cr transmission project from PSEB - Areva T&D India bags Rs 110 cr contract - PowerGrid to raise up to Rs 3,000 cr "Areva T&D India has recently won an order worth Rs 150 crore from PowerGrid Corp for executing a 765 KV extra high voltage substation at Jaiti Kalan in Delhi," a company statement said. "We are confident that the localisation program initiated at our new plants with T&D equipment built and serviced locally, is a key differentiator that will help us to build the 765 KV extra high voltage substation," Rathin Basu, Country President and Managing Director, AREVA T&D India, said.
